Day Hab Without Walls

Kulanu’s life-skills services include Day Hab Without Walls, which develops increased independence through community-based activities and volunteer experiences. Participants work on skill development, meal preparation, housekeeping, self-advocacy skills, community resource development, communication and socialization, as well as safety awareness.

Employment Services

 Kulanu’s Employment Services provides vocational exploration, assessment, work readiness, internship experiences and job placement for individuals with disabilities. Our clients discover their skills, aptitudes and interests and have opportunities to then utilize this information to either community-based internships, or paid employment in their fields of choice. The vocational department partners with over 100 employers who either provide exposure to the world of work; or hire our clients to be an integral part of their labor force.

Recreation & Social Programs

Kulanu Travels provides peer-based  activities on weekends and evenings that help build friendships, social skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.
