
Kulanu’s life-skills services include Day Hab Without Walls, which develops increased independence through community-based activities and volunteer experiences. Participants work on skill development, meal preparation, housekeeping, self-advocacy skills, community resource development, communication and socialization, as well as safety awareness.

Dina Rosenberg, MA, BCBA, LBA
Chief Program Officer
Dina Rosenberg is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Special Education Teacher with more than 25 years of experience in special education. Since joining Kulanu Academy in 2004, she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Head of Schools, and currently serves as Chief Program Officer overseeing Kulanu’s Educational, OPWDD, and ACCES-VR divisions. Dina specializes in behavior management, faculty training, program development, and supporting individualized educational planning for students and families.

Simone Stanbury, MPH
Director of OPWDD Services
Simone Stanbury, joined Kulanu Academy in December 2021 as the Director of OPWDD Services. With over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, Simone is dedicated to fostering their independence and helping them achieve their life goals. She holds a Master's degree in Community Health and Education, MPH. She provides oversight and guidance to the Day Habilitation staff and participants, ensuring that each individual receives the personal, social, and vocational support necessary to thrive within their community. Simone's expertise includes developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each participant. Her role combines leadership, compliance, participant advocacy, and ensuring all participants receive meaningful, person centered services in a safe and supportive environment.

Farrah Leconte, MHC
OPWDD Operations Coordinator
Farrah Leconte, MHC, is a Mental Health Counselor and social services professional who has worked in the non-profit sector for over 10 years. She joined Kulanu Academy in 2018 and has transitioned from the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator to OPWDD Operations Coordinator. Farrah utilizes her extensive social services experience to assist prospective families interested in exploring Kulanu’s OPWDD programs.
Farrah has significant experience in OPWDD regulatory compliance, treatment plan development, and multi-site operations management. Since 2024, she has served as Kulanu’s OPWDD Operations Coordinator, where she assists in ensuring internal compliance across various aspects of the OPWDD division, specifically within the Day Habilitation and Employment programs.
Farrah is dedicated to providing quality care to vulnerable populations while continuously promoting efficiency and organizational growth within the OPWDD division.
