A heartfelt thank you to all our friends, neighbors and supporters who joined to celebrate KULANU’s Chai Scholarship Dinner. This event could not have happened without our awardees Michelle Sulzberger, Barbara and David Goldenberg and Eta Bienenstock.
Our Scholarship Dinner is a significant event. The funds raised provide families with children with special needs tuition assistance towards KULANU’s educational and vocational programs. Thank you again for all your support!
Sincerely,
Rachael Berg

In the beginning, Kulanu (“All of Us”) was established to answer the needs of local families of children with varying physical and developmental disabilities. These parents formed a peer-led support group where they shared and discussed the same challenges: their children were excluded from the vast array of cultural, social and educational opportunities afforded to other children in our community.
Eighteen years later, Kulanu has expanded its programming to support individuals with special needs from birth to 120. While serving hundreds of children and their families in a variety of educational, inclusion, after-school, Sunday, travel and respite programs, Kulanu now provides an array of programs and services for adults.
On Thursday evening, December 13, 2018 at 7:30pm The Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst we will be celebrating Kulanu’s Eighteenth Year. Please join us for a festive gala, lavish dinner, desserts and the comedic entertainment of Steven Scott.
It is fitting that we recognize some outstanding community volunteers who strongly feel the importance of supporting ALL members of our community and have taken on leadership roles that demonstrate their commitment.

Our community must stand as one with our friends and families faced with daily obstacles and challenges. All funds raised at this annual event will directly offset the huge financial costs necessary to maintain all services families depend on throughout the year.
Your participation is critical! Together we ensure Kulanu continues to reach these remarkable milestones.
We look forward to greeting you on December 13, 2018 to celebrate what we have and must continue to achieve.
With heartfelt thanks,
